By car:

From the South West

​

It takes 25-30 minutes from the M4 junction 17 to Waterhay Farm. From the M4 take Junction 17 (Chippenham) and

take the A429 towards Malmesbury passing through Corston. Continue past Malmesbury and take the B4040

(second roundabout) towards Charlton. Continue through Charlton and then through Minety. About 1 mile

after Minety at a cross roads with traffic lights turn left (signed to Ashton Keynes and Cirencester). After half a mile turn right (carefully) into Swan Lane. Follow Swan Lane past the hamlet of Hillside then take the next left into Waterhav (single track). After 2/3rds mile you will reach Waterhay Farm.  The farmhouse and bungalow are on your right.  The farmyard is on the left; turn into the farmyard through the gate.  

 

From the North

From the M5 take Junction 11a and take the A417 towards Cirencester and Swindon. After passing

Cirencester the road is renamed the A419. After the Cirencester turnings come off the A419 at the junction signed Ashton Keynes, Cotswold Waterpark, South Cerney.  Take the fourth exit at the top of the exit slip road, crossing the A419 and then go straight over the next roundabout to take the B4696 Spine Road East.  Follow this for a mile, taking the 3rd road turning on the left, Fridays Ham Lane. This is signposted with a brown sign for Waterhay Carpark. Follow this road (it becomes single track) to Ashton Keynes and when you reach a junction turn left towards Cricklade and the Waterhay Carpark.  After 2/3rds mile you cross the Thames and turn immediately right into Waterhay the road, and you are immediately surrounded by Waterhay Farm's building.  Turn right into the farmyard after 100 metres.

From the East

From the M4 take Junction 15 (Swindon) and take the A419 towards Cirencester and Gloucester and the M5.

After all the Swindon exits you will head down the hill.  Take the next signed exit to Cricklade (immediately after the petrol station). Head into the centre of Cricklade and in the town centre at the clocktower turn left. Shortly, at the roundabout, turn right signposted Malmesbury on the B4040.  Two miles later at the Chelworth crossroads turn right signed Waterhay Carpark with a brown sign. After 1 1/2 miles turn left into Waterhay. If you cross the Thames you have missed the turning; turn around in Waterhay Carpark or where safe and come back!  Once in Waterhay you are immediately surrounded by the farm buildings.  Turn right into the farmyard after 100 metres.

By public transport

The nearest station is Kemble, there are direct services from and to London Paddington (1 hour 5 minutes) - 8 miles from Waterhay Farm.
